Short introduction of partner, why do they participate in DT4GS and why is DT4GS important for TUD.

Delft University of Technology (TUD) is the oldest and largest public technical university and is among the top 15 engineering and technology universities in the world (2020). Within TUD, the Department of Maritime and Transport Technology carries out ground-breaking and pioneering research using state-of-the-art research facilities. TUD is undertaking research related to both the maritime energy transition, and the maritime digital transition, both of which form the core of the DT4GS project. TUD will lead the application of DTs in the design and production of new green autonomous vessels and in the comprehensive DT-enabled methodology for zero emission shipping. TUD will also play a key role in the development of the zero-emission shipping decision support system for both retrofit and new builds.
