DT4GS at the 3rd Workshop of EU Research & Innovation Maritime of Danaos

On October 31, 2024, we had the privilege of participating in the 3rd Hellenic EU Maritime Research Workshop, held at the Danaos Auditorium, joining a distinguished group of professionals, researchers, and industry leaders dedicated to advancing EU Maritime Research and Innovation with strong contributions from Greece. The workshop addressed state-of-the-art topics related to sustainability, resilience, and growth in the maritime industry, including Efficiency & Optimization, Energy Retrofits, Cybersecurity & Big Data Analytics, Digitalization, Robotics, and IoT.

Georgia Tsiochantari from Inlecom and Dr. Antonis Antonopoulos from Konnecta presented our advancements in the DT4GS project. We outlined our innovative digital twinning framework, detailing its foundational concept, alignment with domain requirements, implementation guidelines, and reference applications. We also showcased how this framework integrates with our Open Model Library, enabling powerful applications that support decision-making in fields such as wind-assisted propulsion, voyage planning, and energy efficiency optimization.

We would like to thank Danaos Research Center for organizing this exceptional event and for providing a valuable platform to connect and collaborate with other pioneering initiatives.

DT4GS has received funding from the Horizon Europe framework programme under Grant Agreement No 101056799.
