DT4GS has a specific Work Package, WP6, to guarantee that the project objectives are met by
implementing project management best practices. The coordinator, INLECOM Group, is in charge of
managing the 36-month long DT4GS project and maintaining communication with the European
Commission while being supported and assisted by the Project Steering Team (PST) and the Advisory
Board (AB).
The present DT4GS Handbook provides the primary policies and procedures for the effective project
organisation and coordination. It is created to serve as a guideline to be utilized by the consortium
partners when they need information regarding the project work to be carried out and its schedule,
in terms of deliverables, the governance bodies and decision mechanisms as well as their distinct
roles and obligations. The document also defines the monitoring and reporting procedures to be followed during the lifetime of the project as well as the communication tools and collaborative workspace structure which will facilitate the daily interaction between the partners. Additionally, it briefly describes the Quality Assurance and Risk management processes (more details in D6.2 Quality Plan and Monitoring) along with the Data Management (D6.3 Data Management Plan and GDPR Compliancy v1) aspects of the project. Finally, the ethical and legal aspects of the project are presented.
